Famous Last Words

"Famous Last Words" is the second single and thirteenth track from My Chemical Romance's third studio album, The Black Parade. It was released on January 22, 2007. It is also the band's ninth overall single. The music video premiered on December 12, 2006 on MTV2 and on December 13, 2006 on the Much Music program, and on MuchOnDemand in Canada. The video was officially premiered in the United States on the January 11 episode of Total Request Live, and debuted on the countdown the following Tuesday at #5, the band's highest TRL debut for a video. It went onto become their third #1 video on the countdown (following "Helena" and "The Ghost of You"). On March 26, 2007 the video retired at #5 on TRL. On March 12, 2007, they performed this song on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

In the United Kingdom and other territories, the single was released as a two-part square shaped vinyl picture disc. Part one came in a gatefold stickered clear sleeve, with a space to 'slot' part two into.

Metallica

Metallica /məˈtælɨkə/ is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1981. Founded when drummer Lars Ulrich posted an advertisement in a local newspaper, Metallica's line-up has primarily consisted of Ulrich, rhythm guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield, and lead guitarist Kirk Hammett, while going through a number of bassists. Currently, the spot is held by Robert Trujillo.

Metallica's early releases included fast tempos, instrumentals, and aggressive musicianship that placed them as one of the "big four" of the thrash metal subgenre alongside Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax during the genre's development into a popular style.[1] The band earned a growing fan base in the underground music community and critical acclaim, with the 1986 release Master of Puppets described as one of the most influential and "heavy" thrash metal albums. The band achieved substantial commercial success with Metallica (1991), which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. With this release the band expanded its musical direction resulting in an album that appealed to a more mainstream audience.

In 2000, Metallica was among several artists who filed a lawsuit against Napster for sharing the band's copyright-protected material for free without the band members' consent.[2] A settlement was reached, and Napster became a pay-to-use service. Despite reaching number one on the Billboard 200, the release of St. Anger alienated many fans with the exclusion of guitar solos and the "steel-sounding" snare drum. A film titled Some Kind of Monster documented the recording process of St. Anger.

Metallica has released nine studio albums, two live albums, two EPs, twenty-four music videos, and forty-five singles. The band has won nine Grammy Awards, and has had five consecutive albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200, making Metallica the only band, other than the Dave Matthews Band, to do so.[3] The band's 1991 album, Metallica, has sold over 15 million copies in the United States, and 22 million copies worldwide, which makes it the 25th-highest-selling album in the country.[4] The band has sold an estimated 100 million records worldwide as of the release of their latest album, Death Magnetic. As of September 2008, Metallica is the fourth highest-selling music artist since the SoundScan era began tracking sales on May 25, 1991, selling a total of 51,136,000 albums in the United States alone.[5]

Jason Mraz

Jason Mraz (pronounced /məˈræz/;[1] born June 23, 1977) is an American singer-songwriter, born and raised in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Mraz's stylistic influences include reggae, pop, rock, folk, jazz, and hip hop.

Mraz released his debut album, Waiting for My Rocket to Come, which contained the hit single "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)", in 2002 but it was not until the release of his second album, Mr. A-Z that Mraz achieved commercial success. The album peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 200 and sold over one hundred thousand copies in the US. In 2008, Mraz released his third studio album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 was a commercial success worldwide, peaking in the top ten of many international charts.

Mraz's international breakthrough came with the release of lead single from We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. titled "I'm Yours". The single peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Mraz his first top ten single. The song was a huge commercial success in the US with it receiving a triple-Platinum certification from the RIAA for sales of over three million.[2] The song was successful internationally and topped the charts in New Zealand and Norway and peaking in the top ten of multiple international charts.

Heal the World

"Heal the World" is a song from Michael Jackson's hit album, Dangerous, released in 1991. The music video features children living in countries suffering from unrest. It is also one of only a handful of Michael Jackson's videos not to feature Jackson himself, the others being "Cry", "HIStory" and "Man in the Mirror". (The clips for "HIStory" and "Man in the Mirror" only feature Michael Jackson in archival footage).[1] Jackson performed the song in the Super Bowl XXVII halftime show with a 35,000 person flash card performance.

In a 2001 Internet chat with fans, Jackson said "Heal the World" is the song he is most proud to have created. He also created the Heal the World Foundation, a charitable organization which was designed to improve the lives of children. The organization was also meant to teach children how to help others. This concept of 'betterment for all' would become a centerpiece for the Dangerous World Tour. In the documentary Living with Michael Jackson, Jackson said he created the song in his "Giving Tree" at Neverland Ranch.

An ensemble performance of "We Are the World" and "Heal the World" closed Jackson's memorial service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on July 7, 2009. The song was performed as rehearsed by Jackson at the venue just days earlier, in preparation for his planned "This Is It" tour in London. Ciara, an R&B singer sung this song at the BET Awards 2009. Jennette McCurdy, is performing this duet with Brittany Hargest of Jump5 from her new album.

According to Jane Goodall, Jackson wrote the song, which he considered his most powerful to date, after discussions with her regarding the plight of wild chimpanzees, and Jackson's hope to promote more compassion towards wild animals. In a letter to Goodall, Jackson mentioned that despite the song having been inspired by chimpanzees, it ended up being about his hope for a better world for human children.[2]

Life on the Murder Scene

Life on the Murder Scene is the first live album by New Jersey quintet My Chemical Romance. It was released on March 21, 2006 (see 2006 in music). The release includes 3-discs (2 DVDs and 1 CD) of the whole history documenting the band from the start to present. Life on the Murder Scene is a predominantly live album, but also includes two demo tracks and a previously unreleased track. Models Jamisin Matthews and Jaime Andrews portray the demolition couple in cover photo, booklet, packaging, dvd art, and dvd menues.

One DVD documents the band on the road in the form of a diary and the other covers live footage, AOL Sessions, MTV $2 Bill performance, and 4 of their videos with the behind-the-scenes 'Making Of...' for three of them. The cover features a live version of "Demolition Lovers II" (cover of Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge).

The album has seen decent success in Australia, peaking at #2 on the ARIA Top 40 DVD Chart, and also in the U.S., peaking at #30 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the

My Chemical Romance Venganza! Pemutaran dan Album Info!

The MCRmy mempunyai kontes untuk memenangkan pra-pemutaran Venganza! video dan saya terpilih untuk pergi. Pada hari Jumat tanggal 27 kita semua bertemu di kantor Warner Bros dan membawa kami ke ruangan yang manis ini dengan layar besar dan speaker besar dengan meja kayu besar dan kursi putar di sekelilingnya. Mereka membiarkan anak-anak yang berada di bawah 18 membawa orang lain tapi saya menduga beberapa orang ditipu dan membawa seseorang tetap. Tidak peduli, ada sekitar tiga puluh orang di sana dan 25 yang dipilih.

Sebelum kita mulai menyenangkan ini Xavier berbicara kepada kami sedikit dan memperkenalkan beberapa orang yang bekerja untuk My Chem. Ada seorang gadis bernama Rachel yang mengelola mereka MySpace, Facebook, dan situs web dan memasang informasi bahwa band ingin kita tahu. Ada beberapa orang lain seperti art director dan sebagainya tapi saya tidak ingat nama mereka. (Maaf!) Btw, itu peluru USB adalah sulit untuk terbuka, jangan memutar itu.

Segera, mereka mengeluarkan gitar yang ditandatangani oleh band yang dijanjikan sebagai hadiah utama dan melangkah beberapa kertas sekitar dengan nama-nama kami di atasnya untuk menentukan pemenang. Ketika mereka memungutnya semua orang menahan napas, aku berharap aku punya begitu buruk. Sayangnya, saya tidak menang, tetapi beberapa nice gadis muda bernama Daisy menang. It was nice, itu adalah gitar hitam dengan semua band di signature pada Sharpie perak. Tapi mereka masih memberi tahu hal-hal lain untuk orang lain juga. Mereka juga memberi kami semua jenis poster Black Parade hal-hal yang baik. Kemudian mereka bertanya kepada kami pendapat kita tentang merch!
